Is it possible to fail your way to success?
By Seth Joiner
I am of the opinion that no one is perfect. Life has a way of seperating the
true survivors from the weak. It is the old natural selection theory the rings
true in any profession, sport or business endevor that you embark on.
Take a look at any top athelet. Michael Jordan was in the Gym working out before
anyone else and he would stay longer that anyone else and yet it took him years
before he reached the NBA finals and then finally won the greatest prize. He had
to fail repeatedly for years before he became the great player that he was.
Look at some of the greatest leaders of our time like Abraham Lincoln. He had to
lose a bunch of elections before he finally won the presidency of the USA.
Thomas Edison one of the greatest inventors of all times and the founder of
General Electric failed over 1000 times before he invented the light bulb.
Jim Carrie one of my favorite actors failed for years to be noticed by big movie
companies until he was finally hired to star in "Ace Ventura Pet Detective". He
worked for years as a stand up comedian until he finally caught his break to
enter into the industry.
Donald Trump has had tremendous successes and tremendous failures. He has game
bankrupt on several occasions but he never let that stand in his way of becoming
one of the most successful real estate investors in our day in age.
We could go on and on about different individuals failing thier way to success.
What you will find is that this is the norm. Everyone that has done anything
noteworthy during their life has experienced tremendous failures, but it hasn't
stopped them from achieving thier goals.
Do you think that your experience will be any different? The short answer is a
resounding no. In fact if you are not going through trails in your life then you
are probably not trying hard enough (maybe you have already arraived) or you
might need to get ready because something is about to happen.
