If you are approaching retirement age and are considering retiring to Mexico, you are making a great decision. What I have done, however, is to compile a list of six of the top reasons to retire to Mexico. • Living Expenses - if you are living on a limited retirement account, Mexico can help you to enjoy your retirement more. The living expenses in Mexico are much less than in the neighboring United States and many other countries around the world.
• Plenty to Do - if you plan on being active in your retirement years, Mexico can certainly accommodate you. Depending on the area in which you choose to retire, you will have a wide variety of cultural and entertainment choices to keep you busy.
• Beautiful Scenery - When you are living in one of the retirement areas of Mexico it is difficult to look in any direction and not see beauty around you.
• Easy to Purchase - Mexico makes it relatively easy for foreign nationals to purchase in their country. There is some paperwork that will need to be filled out, however, but once that is finished the rest is all downhill.
• Near to the Ocean - Because Mexico is a fairly slim country that has large bodies of water on either side, it is not difficult to get to the ocean. Of course, many individuals decide to retire directly on oceanfront property because it is still relatively inexpensive in this country.
  

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons why you should retire to Mexico. The choice, of course, is going to be yours but if you love beautiful weather, inexpensive living and always having plenty to do, Mexico can certainly accommodate you in this regard.
